Statement:

“My prints and sculptures merge decorative ornament with scientific illustration. I am curious about the human impulse to collect, contain, and claim ownership of natural phenomena. The motifs we use to furnish interior spaces are often stylized renditions of nature that present a tame interpretation of wilder landscapes.”
